Our sweet Abyssinian kitten Leonito arrived by plane on Thursday. Murray had travelled to Cranbrook the day before, because the roads can be tricky this time of the year! It's a good thing he did, it was snowing almost all the way back to Creston.
Yesterday the weather started to change, it was raining in the evening. Not that we were complaining, it was predicted all week and only now did it actually happen. We were preparing ourselves for a wet and gloomy day. We would be pleasantly surprised, but I am getting ahead of my story.
Another busy day in Toronto, hard to believe our vacation is already halfway over, there is so much we'd still like to see! Today we visited Chinatown, one of the largest Chinese populations outside of China.
Our first full day in Toronto! In the morning, we went up the CN Tower. The weather forecast was not too good for the rest of the week, so we thought we'd take advantage while the view was still clear.
I can't believe how much time has passed since I last posted. But in all truth, not much has happened this summer, except perpetual sunshine, good weather (we are all still walking around in short sleeves), enjoying the outdoors, and hard work in and around the house.
Ignoring the sound of the continuous stream of traffic from the highway, and already used to the smell of engine fumes, we settled ourselves for the night. "Goodnight darling," "G'night love", and we snuggled our ears into our pillows.
