Norwegian cruise - Winterswijk

We spent the day visiting my parents of course and revisiting my childhood memories. It was wonderful to be back and see things through Murray's eyes - I had forgotten what a lovely part of The Netherlands I used to live in.

The walk from the hotel to my parents is a pretty one, it takes us through one of the Winterswijk parks.

You can't visit any part of Holland without spotting bicycles, naturally...

Of course we visited "De Kinderboerderij", or Children's Farm, where kids of all ages can interact with nature and the animals. I can't recall the amount of hours I used to spend in there as a child. I'm just so happy some things never change, it's all still there!

The grounds around the hotel where we stayed are as pretty as ever.

You can just see our balcony, on the left hand side.

Of course visiting Winterswijk ten years after we got married brought back a lot of other memories as well. We just had revisit some of those places...
