Today, our electricity was cut off for several hours, to replace all the wires and poles in the entire neighborhood.
It certainly amused some our cats...
Except Rosie, she had more important things to do such as working on her suntan and showing off her pretty nails.
But finally they were gone and we could take a picture of our beautiful view and the colors of the Fall. It was lovely enough to sit outside even - I don't think I have ever been able to do that in Holland at this time of the year!
geen stroom is inderdaad een bekend verschijnsel in Canada. De eerste keer keken we nogal verbaasd, inmiddels hebben we een kastje waar lampen, kaarsen, lucifers en een gasbrander in staan....
ReplyDeleteOok het weer blijft ons verrassen. Het ene moment sta ik de ruiten van de auto vrij te krabben, het andere moment zit ik buiten op het bankje met een kopje koffie in de zon....
