Our trip to Toronto - day 2

We stayed overnight in Calgary, so we could rise bright and early the next morning to get the 8:00 flight to Toronto.

Flying standby as we do, we weren't overly disappointed that the flight was full, but luckily we got on the next one that left at 10am. It was a smooth journey, so was the taxi limousine drive.

We were dropped off at the hotel... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the hotel............. let me summarize: it is GORGEOUS!!

We stayed at the Park Hyatt hotel in downtown Toronto, right next to the place where Murray used to work at Air Canada.

When we arrived it was already 5pm local time, so after a walk to get rid of our plane legs, we had supper in an English pub. The food was good, but the place was quite full and cramped. Everybody tried their best to make themselves heard not only to their table partners, but to everybody else as well. It was a good start to get used to city life (again), it sure gave us an indication of the sound levels we were going to have to adjust to! After we finished supper, we went back to the hotel and called it a night.
