Our cruise to Alaska - Vancouver Airport

On Wednesday we put our cats in boarding, and Thursday we were ready to leave!

The flight to Vancouver was uneventful. We had booked a stay overnight at the Fairmont hotel right at the airport. As if having the Penthouse on the ship was not enough, we found we had been upgraded to one of their spacious Gold rooms on the 13th floor, with a great view of the runways, downtown Vancouver, the mountains and the sea!

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and we're happy it is right at the airport so all we need to do is go downstairs tomorrow morning for our transportation to the ship.

After a quick bite, we turned in early to relax and dream about our cruise.
